
This is the study of euthanasia which is controversial subject not only in New Zealand but also in the world. According to Massey University
survey 2008, 70% of respondents supported the fact that the doctors should be allowed by law to end the patient’s life if the patient who has a painful incurable disease requests it. This clearly shows the New Zealanders are quite supportive to euthanasia. However, the opponents urged some problems with euthanasia, namely, negative effects, although euthanasia is largely supported in New Zealand.
